The Golden Pin Design Award is one of Asia’s most influential international design competitions, organized by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI). Its mission is to promote creativity, technology, and sustainability in the design industry by providing a platform for designers around the world to showcase and exchange ideas.
Golden Pin Design Award เป็นเวทีประกวดออกแบบระดับนานาชาติที่ทรงอิทธิพลในเอเชีย จัดโดย Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เทคโนโลยี และความยั่งยืนในวงการออกแบบ ผ่านการเปิดพื้นที่ให้กับนักออกแบบทั่วโลก
The Best Design Award
In 2024, Thailand gained international recognition once again as mflex factory received the Best Design Award in the Product Design category for its project “Air Flow (BTL 201)”, a concrete ventilation block that stands out for its minimalist yet innovative design. The block’s four-sided ventilation openings create dynamic light and shadow effects that shift with the viewer’s perspective and the time of day, while also enhancing airflow within buildings. This product also offers flexibility in application suitable for construction, architecture, and interior design while incorporating local materials and sustainable production methods. It reflects a design approach that is both context-aware and environmentally responsible.
ในปี 2024 ประเทศไทยได้รับการยอมรับอีกครั้ง เมื่อ mflex factory ได้รับรางวัล Best Design ในหมวด Product Designจากผลงาน “Air Flow (BTL 201)” บล็อกช่องลมคอนกรีตที่โดดเด่นด้วยดีไซน์เรียบง่ายแต่แฝงด้วยนวัตกรรม ช่องลมทั้งสี่ด้านช่วยสร้างเอฟเฟกต์แสงและเงาที่เปลี่ยนไปตามมุมมองและช่วงเวลาของวัน พร้อมทั้งเพิ่มการระบายอากาศในอาคารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผลงานนี้ยังมีความยืดหยุ่นในการใช้งาน ทั้งในงานก่อสร้าง สถาปัตยกรรม และการตกแต่งภายใน โดยใช้วัสดุท้องถิ่นและผลิตอย่างยั่งยืน สะท้อนแนวคิดการออกแบบที่คำนึงถึงบริบทและสิ่งแวดล้อมร่วมสมัย
mflex’s achievement not only highlights the potential of Thai designers on the global stage but also signals a forward-thinking direction in design one that harmoniously integrates creativity, sustainability, and local identity.
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ของ mflex ไม่เพียงแสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของนักออกแบบไทยในระดับสากล แต่ยังชี้ให้เห็นทิศทางของการออกแบบยุคใหม่ ที่ผสานความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ความยั่งยืน และอัตลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นเข้าด้วยกันอย่างลงตัว
